What exactly is allowed to post?

Postby Uri Blass » 27 Dec 2004, 17:03

Movei drew against gandalf and I wanted to discuss about the game.
Everybody can download the games but unfortunately I am afraid to post a link to the games here because it is a link to the arena site and I do not want my post to be deleted.

I thought to post the game without a link but I am afraid that posting a game that I downloaded in arena links without a link will also cause my post to be deleted for one of the following reasons:
1)Someone will complain that people are allowed to download the game only from the arena site
2)Someone will complain that I am not allowed to post a game that I downloaded without telling from which site I downloaded it.

I thought to add to the link some 1's and tell the users to delete the 1's but unfortunately I am afraid that I am not allowed even to do it.

Hi Uri. Posting links to Arena site is blocked until Volker is back and examines all the information from his provider. If you need to post a link to Arena, you must wait until Volker comes back, and ask him.
Posting a game (in PGN for example) is allowed no matter where the games comes from.
