searching in epd files

Postby Peter Fendrich » 08 Jan 2005, 00:25

I'm sure there is a program that searches in epd-files for material configurations like KRPKR etc.
... but what's the name of it?

Hello Peter,

Scid can load epd files and search for material patterns.

Jim.

Are you sure?
I couldn't figure out how... :(
Importing pgn files and searching for patterns is straightforward but epd files can't be imported, just opened and without searching capabilities.

Sorry Peter, you're right, my mistake.
You could though convert your epd files to pgn with EPD2diag, then you can use it with Scid.
