newer crafties and ics mode exiting

Postby mike schoonover » 17 Feb 2005, 02:02

hi all,
i'm sure this has been covered before.
i am using winxp,winboard 4.2.5.
i have noticed that crafty seems to exit unexpectivly quite often in
ics mode.from what i have noticed when i pay attention, when the
opponent resigns seems to be a problem.
well antway i remembered to do a debug.
even though there was no resign, this is dipicle.
i think i've got the right part posted below.
help appreciated.
regards
mike

It would appear that the SSE & SSE2 compiles would cause this. I have a newer method of compiling in which I do not use the SSE or SSE2 and the compiles are faster than my previous ones. I just uploaded the new 19.19 with the new compile method, I would recommend using these.

Mike

I just uploaded new compiles to my web site that are faster then the previous ones. I would recommend using these as the SSE2 compiles I had reports of problems just like your having.
