I just sent version 1.9 to Leo, I expect it should appear soon as Leo seldom lets much grass grow. The main difference affecting play is the addition of checks to the qsearch. This seems to help against some engines and hurt against others but I think there is a little net plus. For those who like tinkering with engine parameters the number of plys that Bruja will search checks can be adjusted, 0 for no checks in q search, 1 to search checks in the first ply etc. Conventional wisdom says that checks in qsearch can allow a larger null move reduction with less risk of tactical blindness so this parameter is adjustable as well.
