gosu 0.7 -- does own book work?

Postby Michael Yee » 11 Apr 2005, 13:51

There is a "book.dat" file, but the engine doesn't seem to use it.

Does anyone else have this problem? (or know a way around it?)

Note that the previous version (0.6) did use its own book...

Thanks,
Michael

Pablo,

I do have the Data folder (with weights0 through weights8), plus book.dat at the same directory level as gosu.exe. I even tried moving the book file around, but it didn't help.

However, like Guenther, I'm using Windows XP so maybe that has something to do with it.
