I have other Winboard engines working fine, but no joy with AnMon 5.51. Could somebody please give me simple instructions or email me correctly set up files.

Thanks in anticipation (hopefully),
Graham.

Hi Graham :D
I assume that you are using AnMon 5.51 which is a winboard engine via Wb2Uci adapter....I can't figure out why you are having problems
My advice is to use AnMon 5.50 which is a UCI version and works fine under Deep Fritz 8 GUI.Besides,it's identical to AnMon 5.51
Cheers,
Dr.Wael Deeb

P.S.You can download AnMon 5.50 from www.playwitharena.com

Thanks for your advice Wael. I've downloaded AnMon 5.50 from the Arena site and will try it out.

Regards, Graham.

AnMon 5.50 works fine. Thanks Wael. I also put Naum 1.7 into my engines folder.
I'm now running a 20 round swiss with 82 engines at 40 moves in 20 mins on the old Pentium 3 450. Mind you, all of the CM9000 and CM10th settings from the Showdown tournaments are included which accounts for half of the participants!
