New results and tests.

I've been doing a few tests the last couple of days and here are the results (40/10', PII266/64, 16Mb hash):
Crafty 16.19-Crafty 17.06: 10-10 (Hope there's a new exe at Hyatts site soon).
Insomniac 0.53- Bringer1.6B: 5.5-0.5 (Bringers strength dubious, but insomniac is a strong program)
Cilian 4.13-LarsenVB02: 9-1 (The loss for cilian was due to a time error, so LarsenVB still have a long way to go)
I've also started on the second half of ML-4. I decided to replay all the matches with reversed colours. Hopefully Frank will add the results to ML-4 when I'm finished. Currently Crafty17.06 with 4/5 and LG2000v2 with 3.5/4 lead the pack on the second tour, while the leader from the first tour, Comet, only got 2/5.

Gerrit has released the new 1.6 ( see above ) as usual with little PR :=)
I think this version is definitely stronger than the 1.6B you tested and will bring much fun to testers and players . Insomniac seems to be a very strong program but I don't think Bringer 1.6 will lose 0.5-5.5 often .
The optimizations especially improved Bringer's play at longer time controls where it isn't sure that it is much better at fast blitz time controls .
