I think your problem is ponder=on !
See my detail page. I play games over night and I have not problems with problems.
Look under Options / General / Ponder next move under your Winboard Menue !
I hope that is it !

I made a 20 game test over night against Bringer1.6 and I have the same problem as my hungarian friend. Even though Amy won 10.5-9.5 it lost 6 (!) games on time. Under these circumstances a win is impressive. Bringer screwes up a game too, but I don't think it's a bug.
Best wishes...

I was contemplating this solution too. Hopefully it's not a problem in Paderborn? It could be a porting bug.

Are this more than a few seconds that Amy looses on time? If not, it is probably a known problem - Amy does not honor the 'time' command from winboard, so its internal clock might get out of sync with the winboard clock.
I promise it will be fixed in the next release...

Hallo WYx,

In the games I saw before I went to bed, Amy had to make three-four moves within 10-15 seconds. It couldn't handle that. At least not everytime.

Amy does better and better with slower time control. At least for the Winboard port I have clearly seen this. I don't think it will do well at blitz, but I think it will be a monster at 40/2. That is fine with me because I despise blitz anyway.
