Now I'm pretty sure I can switch from B.18 to B.20 without much damage:
B.20-B.18 12-8 (9-5-6). Pentium 166, 4 MB hash, 4-man Nalimov, 15m/G. It can only improve with longer time controls and bigger hash.

Great forum here. I really appreciate the testing done here.
(In fact, to my surprise the B.19 had turned out to be weaker than the B.18; therefore it had not beehn released)
