I have an AMD Athlon Processor, do you know whether the Corbit version or the version from Dr. Hyatt's ftp site will run faster on my machine?

Just download both versions, start each of them in text mode (not simultaneously) and type "bench". That will get you a node count for each version and you only have to compare.

Thanks. Here are the results on my Athlon 750:
Crafty 17.10 Corbit: 434258nps
Crafty 17.10 Hyatt : 417932nps
So it seems that the Atlon likes the Corbit one better....
