Hi Hartmut, you're announcing an engine, I download it from your page and -- it doesn't work.Dear Frank,
Please, give a WB command-line if you played successfully with the announced engine.
Otherwise it causes only anger!
Take it easy, it works just fine. Just use a WinBoard.ini line like:you're announcing an engine, I download it from your page and -- it doesn't work.Dear Frank,

I saw the hash option in the exe file with an editor (I use ultra edit). I asked the programmer for a list of all commands and for a little bit on informtion about Chezzz.
If I have the information I add the information in my News Ticker.

Hello Leo,Hi Mogens,
can you tell how you find info about commands as '-hash 64M' for Chezzz if there is no Readme?

David was kind enough to mail me a previous version, which I used for a correspondance game against Nero operated by the author. I discovered the hash command by opening it in textmode and trying some "standard" commands, ie. hash, st, go and so on needed for that kind of game. No deep analysis I'm afraid.

Mogens
It seems to me that whatever you put after that 64 it will still count hash size in kB's. At least that's what it displays. So you'd better use the format '-hash 65536' if you want 64 MB.Take it easy, it works just fine. Just use a WinBoard.ini line like:

That is correct for changing hash for Chezzz in textmode. But according to the Windows 2000 taskmanager, -hash 64M works just fine with WinBoard and if you start Chezzz in textmode with -hash 64M as argument, eg.It seems to me that whatever you put after that 64 it will still count hash size in kB's.
