What is ruffian's problem? Which book is it using? The canned one? A tie with Delphi? Loss to crafty? Not knocking delphi or crafty , but I never saw 1.0.1 have a problem with either. Guess not enough games. Is 1.0.5 not all it is supposed to be?

I supposed nothing about 1.0.5 and all the results that I read about it indicate that it is weaker than 1.0.1
The results that I read about are not only results from WBEC and
I remember results from the CCC when 1.0.1 did better than 1.0.5 in the nunn match against the same opponent.

Thanks Uri,
I guess the year long wait for a new Ruffian was all for naught. At least there
will be a linux version theoretically. I think I also saw 1.0.5 playing on a
Dual PII on freechess.org as ruffe not that it is using it. Maybe all the good stuff is being saved for
a commercial version.

I just played four blitz games agains DanChess and the result was 0-4, its lack of knowledge about kingsafety, unluckily for me, I couldn't test as it was my own king who was under attack all the time. Certainly I'm badly out of form, but I still can
understand when an opponent plays good chess.
It seems like BigLion & Taktix have a challenger for the African championship.

Blikskottel and NagaSkaki are also from Africa.
