WBEC forum

Postby Leen Ammeraal » 19 Sep 2005, 05:53

On the start page of WBEC Ridderkerk, I can click on "WBEC Forum" but then I get the message
"You don't have permission to access /forum67828/index.htm on this server."
I suppose I have to register, but what is the way to do this?
I post this question here because I don't know how to do this on the WBEC website.

Works for me

I'm not having any problem. Try again, perhaps it was down temporarily. If it still doesn't work he may have had to block an IP range or something.

I did, with the same result! I used the Firefox browser
to get the error message reported earlier.
When I use Internet Explorer (and try to access the WBEC forum) I get this message:
"You are not authorized to view this page"
It is all very strange. Anyway, thanks for your reaction.

I use Firefox too and can access the forum without problems. However, I noticed that Leo's site wants to open a popup window what it did not so far. I allowed it but I can't see a difference.

Hi Leen

I also use Firefox.

I have had the same problem on several occasions this last week, but at other moments I had no problems and could connect effortlessly.

So try again : it could finally work.

The problem always occured when I tried to connect from home.
From my job I could always connect.

It looks as if my private IP address was intermittently filtered out ...

It looks a bit similar to the difficulties that some complained of a few weeks ago for connecting to Volker's forum

Hi Volker,

Thanks for telling, I asked some people some days ago if they saw an popup but they did not, its a new "feature" of the Nedstat counter which I go to remove now!

To Leen, there should be no problem with the wbec forum as far as I know!?

Best wishes,
Leo.

Unfortunately, things are still the same, Leo. I can get everything of your website, except your forum. I just tried Firefox and Internet Explorer once again, but I was not granted access to the WBEC forum.

Maybe Parsimony is blocking your IP for whatever reason. You or Leo could ask them http://f1.parsimony.net/forum1/.
