Hello Gunther,
Deuterium is still at 04.02.05.12, meaning
04=released in 2004, 02=second release on the year specified, 05=5th released overall and 12=my personal test version, the greater the number, generally the more I have spent time on it testing before release.
Here again I am surprised why I beat this strong engine Eeyore. Deuterium was lucky again.
Thanks for the tournament.
Have a nice day,
Ferdinand

Thanks for the correction Ferdinand, I mixed up the numbers
in my pairings program. Next round report will contain the
right numbers.
BTW it seems you have created a really strong program now,
especially if I look at Leos result too.
Does Deuterium like 'longer' time controls more? I ask because
my test tourneys with blitz time controls were not that good
for Deuterium.(if we can talk about good results at all after
just four games ;)
Best regards,
Günther

Thanks, anyhow version 04.03.06.28 is coming up probably this week. Unfortunately, I just missed the update cut date on your tourney.
Actually there are some bugs in version 04.02.05.12 that I had found 3 weeks ago. It was fixed already and is undergoing some tests. Somehow the bugs showed up in blitz time controls :)
BTW if you have the time, I would like to ask the debug files played by Deuterium. You may sent those in fsmosca2004@yahoo.com.
Regards,
Ferdinand

I will send them tonight Ferdinand (was quite busy that weekend).
