Marvin - new Winboard engine

Postby Martin Danielsson » 09 May 2004, 11:43

Hi,
A new Swedish chess engine is now avaliable for download. It is
called Marvin and the current version is 1.0.0. It is not that strong yet,
but it will hopefully improve. Marvin supports both Winboard and UCI protocols and
should work well in most GUIs.
For those who are interested, Marvin can be downloaded from the link below.
Both a Windows version and a Linux version is available.
Bug reports and improvement suggestions are always welcome.

Regards,
Martin

Hi,
many thanks for the new engine! I tried to create a logo for it, I hope I understood the meaning of 'Marvin' :-)
Best,

Hi,
thanks for the logo, it looks really nice!
Do you mind if I distribute the logo with my
engine (with appropriate credits of course)?

Regards,
Martin
