It means that deep sjeng1.6 is not going to be the champion because
the king3.23 is going to score more points than it.
The king3.23 scored less than Deep Sjeng1.5 and the question is if it is using better book like slowchess2.89 or has more luck.

From the wbec site it shows that phalanx and moveii each have 37.5 pts after only 60 games, but have 5 close pursuers. Of the 7 engines, only 3 make the playoffs. A 4-0 victory by phalanx over moveii, or moveii over phalanx would greatly diminish the losing engine's chances for the playoffs. It seems natural that when these 2 engines play each other soon that they should agree to 4 short "grandmaster draws". Splitting the 4 points will most likely get each safely into the playoffs. But will the engines see this human type of logic?

It seems that Amy needs some 4-0 against slowchess in order to promote and in this case 4-0 victory of movei against phalanx together with 3.5-.5 result against Terra is going to be enough for movei to promote.
2-2 is not going to put movei in the safe zone.
After all Terra is a strong opponent and can beat movei in the last round and movei may remain even without the qualification.
I will be disappointed from 2-2 because
Movei already beated phalanx 3-1 in the past

Uri-
If moveii gets 4 points from phalanx and Terra in any way, it makes the playoffs. Here is why:
Moveii would have 41.5 points. The most KnightDreamer and Amy could get is 41.0. The most Amateur could get is 40. That would leave 4 engines (Movei, Phalanx, TheBaron, Gothmog) for 3 positions.
The Baron could get at most 41.5 points to tie Movei, but Movei now has a 10 point S-B lead that should easily hold up and give Movei the tie-breaker.

The 7th edition's Premier Division only plays 64 games per engine. The 6th edition's Premier Division played 68 games. In the 6th edition Deep Sjeng had 47.5 points from 68 matches. So far in the 7th edition, The King has 43.0 points from 60 matches. The King can only reach 47.0 points, but the comparison with Deep Sjeng is faulty because less games are being played.

In case of a 4-0 between Phalanx and Movei the winner is qualified because he will finish at one of the top 3 ranks! (4-0 means also 150 SB points)

Opponents are different and you have to put some randomness in the actual results, given the engines strength.
Neverthless it's still important to notice that the champion has resigned with more than one round to go. The only goal DeepSjeng can reach is to stop The King and help Ruffian to pass it in the last round.
