SzG Swiss update - 3rd division after 3 completed rounds

Hi all,
There is only one engine with a perfect score of 3 points. Beowulf is doing surprisingly well. Fruit and Djinn no longer unbeaten. No engine with 0.
For me these are the most interesting parts of the results. You can find more on my web page.

Now that already 3 rounds have been played, no, because in a Swiss system it could affect the pairings of previous rounds.
Is there a bug in Frenzee 157 which I did not detect?

Cmon Sune,
Frenzee is too strong now. Cut us other poor programmers some slack!

There is no such thing as too strong :)
Especially not if you look at the group it is playing in :o
The reason is I had all the queen evaluation disabled, by accident
I had simply forgot to turn it on. A few other things were disabled
as well because they weren't tested enough but now it looks as if
they work okay.
Anyway, the rule is no updates and so it shall be :)

Re-enabling the queen eval sounds like a bugfix to me, maybe the TDs will reconsider. You should ask Heinz as well.
Do you really get 50 Elo points from this?

Well, I'd hate to receive special treatment, I was just curious to see if
it was possible.
I can't say if it 50, there are other factors and finally it's only been
playing for a few days so it's not completely tested yet.

I sent it to you, but if it really is an exception then I don't think it is a
good idea. It wouldn't be fair to others who may also have achieved
improvements in the meantime.

Hello Sune,
I am only at Nunn position 6 so far with 200 games for each engine. Anyway it seems to me that something does not work well with Frenzee 157. With positions it is okay, even good, but with others it is catastrophical. From the gauntlet I am running with Smar Think 0.18a r140 it seems that most engines in Top2 are improved, but anyway Frenzee should do a bit better at least. Too early for final conclusions but anyway I think I will leave Frenzee 157 in the tournament and if you like I can run a longer gauntlet with the bugfixed version.
Best Regards

Yes I noticed too it scored worse than other versions.
I'd still like to make sure this one is really back up to strength before
I start sending around in large numbers.

Hi Sune,
yes, okay. I would be happy to be able to test a newly improved version, as soon as you are certain about strength.
