Standalone exe's for java-based engines

I've managed to compile standalone executables for the java-based chess engines Pyotr, Tiffanys and eden.

The don't require Java anymore. I've tested them with Arena and they work Ok, actually they run a lot quicker. I made these for all the people who have trouble setting up and running the Java-based engines (including me).

If anyone would like them just send me an email :>

Hello Peter, no I didn't use gcj, I used 'Excelsior JET 3.5'. It's very good, completely wizard driven, automatic setup. The 30 day trial is here :>

Pyotr, Tiffanys and Eden are not written by me.
They are available to download from Leo's site :>

I've sent him these compiled exe's, maybe he'll put them up.

Hi
I've used excelsior jet for make firts versión of fafis, it make a faster exe but you need have installed in your pc the dll´s from excelsior for run de exe,
so the exe is big like 4 Mbytes for small engine and when the trial finish the exe died. Maybe is not the best idea, the solution than i found is with java to visual c# from visual studio net, make a small exe and faster .
=)

I have been fighting with my Java version without any result with Tiffanys and Eden.Only work with Pyotr.
Before reading your post I had sent you an email asking for your special Eden and Tiffanys versions.

Hi Jim,
Great job!
I have no problem to add them to my site but I think I need permission by the original authors!
Have you contact them?
Best wishes,
Leo.
