Congratulation to Fabien and his engines Fruit. this new version (1.5)run a very good tournament and get the second rank in the Latine Europe Zonal ( zonal4).
The new french team will be the following :

Anmon 5.30 , Fruit 1.5 ,Pharaon 2.62,Nejmet 3.07

I remember your relative disappointment about Fruit 1.0 (as compared with the imaginary level some people announced here in March):

Until that time ,newversion or engines can try to qualify ...you have time ...
after my hollydays in august ,i will do a final check aboutnewversion and then the Olympiads will start ...
I hope this long qualifiation process will give the better team for every countries...

try this one:
Knight opening: 350
Knight endgame: 320
Bishop opening: 350
Bishop endgame: 320
Rook opening: 550
Rook endgame: 520
Queen opening: 1050
Queen endgame: 1000
Bishop pair opening: 15
Bishop pair endgame: 50

In a gauntlet against 10 opponents with the 20 Nunn2-Starting-Positions Fruit scored 25 elopoints better than with the default ones.
The main idea is to give pieces higher values in the opening and lower values in the endgame (pawns become more dangerous, since they can promote).
