If I want to start Tornado it always exits after book end(ThinkerBook)
with the error message in the log file:
engine_open(): execvp(): No such file or directory
< ENGINE engine_open(): execvp(): No such file or directory
< ENGINE EOF
This happens on both of my machines PIII WIN98Se and PIV WINXP.

I just had a typo in my Polyglot.ini, instead of
Tornado08017b I had Tornado080017b at one place.

Tornado have no book and can not use tablebases.

Tornado have no book and can not use tablebases.

maybe you can use Arena for your tournaments ? then you can run UCI engines and winboard engines together without problems.
