Fruit-Gothmog 0-1 Fruit felt uncomfortable in this opening line and quickly fell victim to a king attack.
This game is a good example of Gothmog's extremely high king safety eval values.
Here is a position from the game:
3r1rk1/1P1n2pp/p3pP2/1p6/3K4/1p3NP1/2qPQP1P/3R1BR1 w - - 0 23
Materially, black is a bishop down, but Gothmog's static eval reports an
advantage of +2.5 for black.

In fact Gothmog's evaluation of the position during the game was +4,37.

Yes, but I was talking about the static eval, which is not the same as the
value returned by a search. All reasonably strong programs would return a
winning score for black if you let them search from this position.

Tord
The Baron 1.4.0 beta 2 has a static eval of 0.17 (for white). A 6 ply search is needed to get to 2.75 for black.
