Hi all,
I do not know how other testers feel, but reading CCC at the moment results very frustrating and demotivating. I mean just the dumb feeling to be possibly about to waste another thousand hours of CPU time on clones.
Anyway the work of people like Paul Hunter is important and shoud be continued, we have to face the truth and try to make the best out of the situation.
Hopefully some results from all those engines I like for years already will distract a bit. Rook Class still gives a lot of suspense running with last position now and with 10 more games to come for each engine The Baron, Naum and Pepito have best chances to win.
Games 40/40 adapted to 2 Ghz CPU.
Standings with Nunn position 20:
1 Naum 1.2 9.5 / 12
2 Arasan 7.4 7.5 / 12
3 Terra 3.3B11 6.5 / 12 38.00
4 Pharaon 2.62 6.5 / 12 36.75
5 Pepito v1.59 6.5 / 12 34.00
6 The Baron 1.4.0 beta 2 6.0 / 12
7 KnightDreamer 3.3 5.5 / 12 32.25
8 Frenzee 159 5.5 / 12 29.25
9 PostModernist 1010a 5.5 / 12 29.25

11 The Crazy Bishop 0052 4.0 / 12
