Figures in brackets after a chess engine makes a move

I picked up on a game on Agadmator's channel, edited the position and entered an alternative move, and then got a chess engine to play out the rest of the game against itself

I can see moves in Winboard like

What does the bit in brackets mean after each move? Must be some kind of evaluation but how do I read it?

The first number is the score in centi-Pawn, from the POV of the side to move. The second number is the depth to which the engine searched the position.
