AtlanChess problem/bug finally found?

Postby Guenther Simon » 29 Jun 2006, 19:24

AtlanChess at least the lastest exe from January 2006
sends 'san=1'! Obviously it doesn't understand it though
and refuses to move with Black. I don't know though why this
only happens with Black? Some programmer who is more
into the protocol stuff sure knows.
Anyway for now I have disabled 'san=1' via Inbetween and
it seems it works ok now.
Of course I will not replay the both lost on time games as
it is a bug which should be fixed by the author.

Original thread with first mentioning of AtlanChess' problems
was here:(3rd message in the thread)
