PostModernist update (v1016)

Postby AndrewWilliams » 28 Jun 2006, 22:02

Hi all,

There's a new version of postmodernist available at my webpage:

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/postmodernist/

It's been a long while and a disk crash since I uploaded a new version. I know this version is stronger than its predecessor, but I wouldn't like to speculate about how much stronger. You will need to download the new book as well as the program. The instructions are in the README.txt file. If anyone downloads it, could you post here if you have any problems?

Thanks

Andrew

Thank you, Andrew. After more than 2 years without hearing any news I was about to think your engine was dead. I am glad I was wrong.

Hi Claude,

I'm so sorry I didn't reply sooner. I've only just noticed your response. I'm afraid I can't shed any light on the problem. PM should just search from there. It needs to have a pm.ini file, but it has already found that. Are you quite certain that the two book files (preferred.bin and book.bin) are in a sub-folder called "book" (must be lower-case)?

Regards

Andrew

Hello Andrew,

Thanks for your reply :D
I am not very quick because I was on holidays without PC.

I have made a mistake and missed the new organisation with the book :(

I have reinstalled and now all is all right. Sorry for my bad announce.

Thanks again for PostModernist who seems to play better.

Best wishes

Claude
