Using a time control of 40 moves in say 68 minutes I have the following problem:
At the end of the first time control after he made his last move in that period, he took 34.5 minutes for his 41st move in a position where he had the lead and was in no bind.
Then on his 81st move he took 45 minutes to make the move. So that basically leaves him just playing blitz.
Any solution to this?
