c++ editing

Postby Jason Kent » 01 Apr 2005, 01:42

i'm just starting c++ in college, and i was wondering what you guys recommend for editing c++. I'd like to have a graphical interface, similar to notepad, and have it check for errors as I type.

Any suggestions?

Dev-C++ : http://www.bloodshed.net/devcpp.html

I haven't really used it too much, though.

DevC++ or if you are going to buy Visual Studio. You could also download microsofts 2005 beta compiler.
